GGM 2012 has a lot of interesting “attractions” other than musical performance! May we introduce some of them for your interest during next few entries….

*CD-Go-Round (CD ga Guruguru Mawaru)

In an era when packaged music is facing crisis, our rock festival introduces one-of-a-kind CD exchange program for the love of it! The rule is:

1. You bring ONE of your FAVORITE CD which you have a will to share with wider audience.

2. Write your enthusiastic comments about the CD (please specify your twitter account etc. along!) on a card and slip it into plastic case.

3. In a special booth, GGM staff readies a batch of their favorite CDs (“starting lineup”) with comments, and if you’re interested in one of them, you can exchange it ONE BY ONE with the one you bring.

4. In this way, “starting lineup” CDs will be replaced with your one over and over…

You can bring CD of any genres except the following: Promo CDs circulated among music industry professionals, CD-Rs you burned from various sources, and DEMO CDs BY YOUR OWN BANDS.

*Band-T-Go-Round (Band-t ga Guruguru Mawaru)

The sister program of CD-Go-Round, which you can do the same for Band T-Shirts you bought at concerts and goods shops but no longer wear. The rule is:

1. You bring (or even wear) ONE band T-shirt, and if you find an audience who wear band-T you want, you can exchange with yours in real time!

Or, for better:

2. GGM staff readies a batch of Band-T’s in a booth next to CDs, and if you’re interested in one of them, you can exchange it ONE BY ONE with the one you bring.

3. In this way, “starting lineup” Band-T’s will be replaced with your one over and over…

You can bring T-shirts of any sizes/colors, but they must have at least 1 band identification (logo, song name etc.) in them. Don’t take one away, please exchange them fairly!

*German Game Workshop

Our festival even deals with games! In this world, a lot of fantastic “analog” games is manufactured. You enjoy UNO and MONOPOLY, so why not enjoy more “obscure” ones? The expert at those games, Naoki & Ikeda, kindly introduce some of them to you at a special booth. Even if you come to GGM alone, you won’t no longer be lonely!
